Submission deadline has passed.
- Nominations MUST be made by public sector/government officials, executives or staff. Please review the nomination categories and descriptions with appropriate staff and nominate your highest priority candidates.

- Entries must have responses for ALL questions on the entry form by submission deadline, or will be considered incomplete. Incomplete entries cannot be forwarded to judges and will not be retained. Please write clear, concise statements, and spell the first use of all acronyms. Assume that the readers are not familiar with your organization's roles, responsibilities or jargon. Please briefly describe the context (where appropriate) in your responses, so the reader can understand the program area that the technology is being applied to, what the project was designed to address, and the results.
- The online nomination submission is the complete entry. No additional documentation (other than letters of support for "Best Application Serving Multiple Jurisdictions or Organizations within a Jurisdiction" category) will be accepted. However, for intranet or secure applications, you may post screen shots, power point presentations or other visuals on your Web site and note the location and any access information in the online nomination.
- The award recipients, as determined by the Evaluation Committee, will be recognized at a formal ceremony to be held as part of the day-long Best of California event. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
