Chief Strategy Officer Paul W. Taylor to Speak at SITA GovTech 2009 Conference

Paul W. Taylor, Chief Strategy Officer at the Center for Digital Government, and Dan Lohrmann, Chief Technology Officer for the State of Michigan -- both of whom blog at govtechblogs.com -- are among a handful of international speakers who will keynote the SITA GovTech 2009 Conference next week in Durban, South Africa.  Lohrmann address on Wednesday, September 2009 will focus on securing government in a digital world.  Two days earlier, Taylor will debut an international edition of Steal This Idea, a digest of best and emerging practices in digital service delivery.  He will also moderate a panel discussion among government ministers on assessing the ten year old campaign for citizen centric government in South Africa, with a view to defining what should be done in the next decade to realize the potential of electronic government.  Conference information is available at http://www.govtech.co.za/default.asp.
