Best of New York

The Best of New York Awards program salutes IT professionals and projects in New York state and local government organizations and educational institutions at the annual (Government Technology Conference) "GTC East: The New York Digital Government Summit" event. All government and educational organizations in New York are invited to submit nominations in May - June. The awards are presented at the event held each September.

  Call for Entries -- Best of New York 2010 Awards

The Best of New York awards program was established to recognize state and local government and education organizations for their dedication, hard work and contributions in information technology. All government and education organizations in New York are invited to submit nominations!

An Evaluation Committee will review submissions in the following categories and select recipients. All projects nominated must be in production and fully operational by submission. An awards ceremony will be held at the GTC East 2010: The New York Digital Government Summit event September 22-23.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS JULY 22, 2010.


Awards will be given in the following categories:
• Visionary Awards
• Excellence in Leadership Awards
• Project Excellence Awards
 Agencies/ cities/ counties/ educational institutions are also invited to submit their selectee (who will be awarded) the
• IT Operations, Support and Services Award
