New York Technology Leaders Honored for Creative and Resourceful Ideas

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sept. 6, 2012 – e.Republic’s Center for Digital Government and Government Technology, in partnership with the State of New York, honored public leaders and agencies for their innovative use of technology and the improvement of services to citizens, or government employees.

The annual Best of New York awards recognizes New York’s top technology leaders and teams from state agencies and local governments for contributions, best practices and works of distinction in information technology.

“Adapting to the economy, these innovative uses of technology are designed to make New York’s government more effective and efficient,” said Todd Sander, Executive Director of the Center for Digital Government.  “The Center is proud to recognize these award winners for creative technological approaches and solutions that deliver higher productivity and cost savings.”
