Emergency Management Digital Distinction Awards

The Emergency Management Digital Distinction Awards, conducted in partnership with Emergency Management magazine, recognize successful contributions to the first responder community's use of information technology. All civilian government emergency management agencies, ALL LEVELS of government and all countries worldwide may nominate their IT applications and projects. In its inaugural year -- 2010 -- the contest opens January 26; submission deadline is March 18.

  The Center for Digital Government's Inaugural Emergency Management Digital Distinction Awards Call for Entries

The Center for Digital Government and Emergency Management magazine invite nominations for the inaugural Emergency Management Digital Distinction Awards, to recognize successful contributions to the first responder community's use of information technology.

All civilian government emergency management agencies; fire, public safety, police/law enforcement, criminal justice, emergency response, emergency medical services, disaster risk reduction or mitigation, homeland security, or other emergency management; ALL LEVELS of government and all countries worldwide, may nominate their applications and projects.

All nominations must be submitted by government officials, executives or staff and be in production and fully operational (no pilots) by submission deadline. The online entry and linked material must be in English.

Nominations are due by March 18, 2010.
